Please do not use an organization's website to verify specific claims, as Wikipedia relies on secondary coverage such as newspapers for fact-checking. Proposed revision to the introduction

Dream.org is a

non-profit founded by American social change entrepreneur Van Jones^[1] that aims to “close prison doors and open doors of opportunity,”^[2]^[3] specifically by finding common ground on mass incarceration, climate change, and economic inequality. I think this proposed lead may be too colorful for an encyclopedia. It leans too heavily on quotes, qualifiers ("social change entrepreneur" reads as unnecessary, simply "entrepreneur" would suffice), and the uppercase programs don't add much to the article. The point of the lead is to summarize the article and present the topic, which the current lead does just fine. This proposal strays too close to

WP:NPOV, possibly even promotion, as it is. ASUKITE 20:05, 31 August 2022 (UTC)[reply
