For some reason there are TWO sections for Awards and the controversy surrounding zur Hausen’s Nobel prize award is repeated nearly word for word in both places. I’m too much of a newbie editor here to want to tackle streamlining this into a single section, but it looks pretty odd and clearly needs fixing. Thanks for your attention. Request to remove data about Ethel-Michele de Villiers
I have removed the following statement from the article,
Zur Hausen has three sons from his first marriage. In 1993, he married his second wife, Professor Ethel-Michele de Villiers, who at the time was a fellow researcher at the German Cancer Research Center. He currently lives with his wife in Wald-Michelbach, Hesse, as it is unsourced, and per a request from an ip claiming to be Ethel-Michele de Villiers (see Wikipedia talk:Deletion policy#All data in Wikipedia on Ethel-Michele de Villiers). As this is a BLP article, I felt it was to better remove the statement and sort out on this page whether it belongs in the article. - Donald Albury 16:07, 6 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I have revised the content, now in Personal life section, and added two references. The fact that de Villiers was a long-time collaborator on the papilloma virus and cervical cancer topic, thanked specifically at the end of the Nobel Prize biography, makes her in my opinion relevant and worth keeping despite the request from the IP claiming to be de Villiers.
