Hurri. Nicole has also done great financial damage to Florida

  • Option 1. In addition to what is stated above, #1 provides us with sharper cloud details, which gives viewers a better sense of the storm's structure, and is free from the distractions of city lighting and superimposed coastlines and state lines.   • Option 1 All three of them have issues. While I do think 2 looks nice, it is in grey scale. Option 3 is close to the current one except the clouds are extra transparent. While option 1 is blurry and off-centered.
I am choosing option 1 as it is the current image and has no show stopping flaws. Though, I feel like we need a higher quality image of 1 or something close in time.

Option #1 (Current Image) Per

, visible images are preferred over infrared images, so Option #3 would be eliminated since it is an infrared image of Nicole. Infrared images should be used in a last resort type situation, say if there was no full moon or gibbous moon that would illuminate the storm at night. VIIRS satellites would not be able to pick up any visible light from the storm, which at the time Nicole was active, was a waning gibbous moon. That is why we have Options #1 and #2. Now the problem with Option #2 is that it is a grayscale image. Colored images have precedence over grayscale images though Option #2 is also a visible image. Also, another problem with Option #2 is that the state borders are somewhat distracting.
Furthermore, I mentioned in the 2022 Atlantic hurricane seasons' talk page back in November here not all tropical cyclone images have to be centered the polar orbiting satellites don't pass over tropical cyclones all the time there are a few tropical cyclone images on Wikipedia we are using that is off-centered. Even Option #2 isn't centered over Nicole's eye. The only one that is centered is Option #3, which doesn't look visually appealing, so Option #1 is best to use, but this is only my opinion.
