Rename article to "Jerry Media" and FuckJerry (vs fuckjerry) capitalization

Hi, I'm proposing we move the article to "Jerry Media," the parent company of the @fuckjerry Instagram account.

In addition, I noticed that this article's title is all lowercase "fuckjerry" like the Instagram account username, but major media usually use the following: FuckJerry. Here's a Rolling Stone article, for example. In a few cases, like in Forbes [1], "Fuckjerry" has been used. But overall, seems like "FuckJerry" is the convention, and that's what founder Elliot Tebele used in blog post. Crunchydillpickle (talk) 15:22, 15 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

COI Request

Hi, I am with Fuckjerry and would like to disclose that Jerry Media is not the parent company. Fuckjerry, LLC is the parent company.

Can we change the title of this page back to Fuckjerry? Here are sources that help support the statement above:

Please let me know if there are any questions or concerns, I would be happy to help make suggestions to ensure the page is updated and accurate. MaryWDYM (talk) 16:18, 13 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

WP:FORBESCON, the Forbes source cannot be used. The Verge refers to the company as Jerry Media, so I think Jerry Media is still the best name for this article. Z1720 (talk) 20:28, 25 October 2022 (UTC)[reply

Hi Z1720, Thank you so much for looking at this and explaining your reasoning. Based on your experience, do you have any suggestions as to what we could provide to have the page changed back to Fuckjerry to reflect that it is the parent company?
Thank you again!

WP:COMMONNAME to ensure the request aligns with that guideline but you likely have a better case for FuckJerry as most of the headlines refer that name, rather than Fuckjerry. S0091 (talk) 18:57, 28 November 2022 (UTC)[reply

Hi @S0091,
Thank you again for your feedback this has been very helpful. We have found the FJerry patent online through this link https://tmsearch.uspto.gov/ to share with you. If you click “Basic Word Mark Search” and then type Fjerry into the search box, two patents (one from 2019 and one from 2021) appear in the results.
Would this be sufficient to move forward with the page move process? I also have this document available in PDF form if that's possible to share on Wikipedia.
Thank you again and I look forward to hearing from you!

COI Request/ Page move

Edit Request

Hi, I’m Mary and I work with Fuckjerry. Previously we put in a COI request to ask for the title to be changed. An editor suggested we post on the talk page to suggest a page move and gain
consensus. I would like to disclose that Jerry Media is not the parent company, and that Fjerry, LLC is the parent company. In many sources, Jerry Media and Fuckjerry are used interchangeably, which is also incorrect. Jerry Media is no longer active, and therefore I am requesting this page be renamed back to Fuckjerry as no sourcing was provided to support the name change to Jerry Media in the past.

This Forbes article states that the FuckJerry organization manages all accounts.

This Verge article specifically states that FuckJerry, LLC is the parent company.

I apologize if this isn’t the correct formatting that it needs to be posted in. Please let me know if there is anything that needs to be changed to clarify that I am looking for consensus on the page move.

Thank you!

I'll take a look. FuckJerry at first glance appears correct, but give me some to review. -- FeldBum (talk) 20:18, 22 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
So, even with those sources, it still looks like Jerry Media is right, unless I'm missing something. The Verge article name FJERRY as owning "Jerry Media." I think there's an argument to be made to clean this article up and further differentiate the brands, but I don't think the name of this page should change just yet. I'll keep digging in, but please feel free to share more sources. I'll leave this open for now. @MaryWDYM --FeldBum (talk) 22:34, 24 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @FeldBum
Thank you so much for taking the time to look at this! Unfortunately, in most articles, Jerry Media is inaccurately labeled as the parent company. Fuckjerry is the parent company, and Jerry Media no longer exists. I know this is a primary source, but the link below provides more background information on Fuckjerry:
https://elliottebele.com/fuckjerry/
I myself am also looking for more sources to try and help differentiate between the two, as Jerry Media was originally created with an affiliation to Fjerry, LLC. Fjerry, LLC was formed in 2014 and Jerry Media wasn't formed until 2016.
Would first-party sources, such as legal documents, help at all? Or do we need more third-party sources? If so, how many third-party sources would we need? Finally, would an interview work in this case? Thank you for your patience with my questions— I want to continue looking for the best sources to help make this process as smooth as possible! Please let me know if there is anything you can think of that I can provide in the meantime to help make progress on this page.
Thank you!
