Notes

  • Some of the text is my translation from Lotte Burkhardt's copyleft book, in pdf form at https://www.bgbm.org/en/bgbm-press/index-eponymic-plant-names-extended-edition.
  • In the list in the glossary section, the definitions are snippets generally taken word-for-word from our glossary of botanical terms. (Check the history of that page for attribution.) I'm only using snippets that are supported by the glossary in Plants of the World (see the citation). - Dank (push to talk) 21:07, 21 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Image licenses: all were found on Commons. 35 are "own work" (including public domain), 15 are Flickrbot, 6 are iNaturalist, 2 are old public domain botanical illustrations, and the Rhabdodendron is also public domain. I've done the alt text. Johnboddie selected the images from Commons and put them in his sandbox, as usual. - Dank (push to talk) 19:27, 25 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • In my most recent edit, I removed the images from the 7 Santalales families; I put them in a gallery at Santalales. There were too many images on the page; some of them occasionally weren't appearing when loading the page. - Dank (push to talk) 02:50, 26 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
