Bias, Misplaced plot / Unnecessary spoilers, and Misinformation.

This line in the introductory part, "Rifujin na Magonote created Rudeus to be a controversial character to make his character arc instill a major impact in the audience" Isn't this misplaced, AND redundant, AND presumptive when the first line of the Origin section says basically this while being more in good faith? This sounds like the opinion of a 2ndary observer upon reading the interview morso than the author's intention, which, would be fine if it sourced an article, but it doesn't.

Also, this line "while others have enjoyed his growth into a more mature man upon meeting his mentor Roxy and training Eris", this is purely subjective and without any source. When exactly Rudeus becomes a "mature man" is a topic of debate and varies from person to person. Deleting everything after "upon..." is better for consensus.

Also, the author never makes the comparison between Rudeus and the mc from high school dxd in the syosetsu link given. This is misinformation, plain and simple, until someone gives me a link with the actual comparison in it, this statement has no business being here.

Also Yumi Uchiyama will continue to voice Rudeus in the 2nd season. The announcement happened quite a while ago as well. I'll give a source for that as well, just in case.

And now, to the biggest issue, the whole of Appeareances has nothing to with his appearance and everything to do with unnecessary spoilers. This is ridiculous. I'm taking the whole section down and rewriting it. If you want to discuss the plot, go to the main Mushoku Tensei page and do it there as imo this isn't the place for it. Or, make a heading titled "plot" in this page and do it there instead, I have no issue with that.

Also wth, "The series includes sexually-charged plot elements, like the main character ... using his mental powers to give an underage relative an orgasm at a funeral", I have read this entire series including both the Web Novel and Light Novel and this never happens in the series. This is simply not true. Variety does not have Variety in it's fact checkers, apparently. Also the link adjoined to this claim is about Bilibili primarily and regardless of that, the claim in the article is false. This is the textbook definition of misinformation.

Besides this, I'll fix some slight wording issues and that's it. Feel free to talk to me here about any changes. 5aturnius (talk) 15:56, 31 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Random revert

@Saturnius1145: I only tried adding content about Rudeus' role in the first season of the series and it was reverted. Appearances refer to the character's role in the series, not visual appearances. We already have nonfree pics that show the character's appearances and each image can be given its own alt. As a result, the current article fails in coverage to the character so please don't revert content just because it is a spoiler. I'd argue that only the lead should avoid spoilers but the article should cover Rudeus' entire role in the series. Removing it will just result and send a message to the wrong page will just make it worse. Especially when you warned you would revert it like if there was ownership.Tintor2 (talk) 21:43, 12 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The article for Mushoku tensei has the entire plot of the whole series under a heading titled "Plot" which I absolutely agree with because it's titled correctly. Anyone who does not want to be spoiled, just skip the "Plot" section.
Also, the appearance section of a character refers to the way they look obviously. If you want to talk about their role over the course of season 1, making a separate heading for 'Plot' or 'Role' and copy pasting what you wrote in appearance into there would be more appropriate and I would gladly allow it. Even dividing up appearances into 'physical characteristics' and 'role' sub headings is fine by me.
I hope you get back to me on this, because this is not a random revert, because as you can see in the edit above this one, I clearly stated my intentions on why I removed or changed anything. I will wait for a week for a reply to this, and incase of silence I will revert such edits, because appearance under a character article does not mean where they appeared and what they did, it means how they look.
I sincerely hope you understand what I'm getting at here. I'm not trying to claim ownership or revert your edits as an ego trip, I too want both sides happy without extended conflict or petty reverts, it's just that when blatant misinformation with incorrect citations are used to put up heinous claims against something I'm passionate about, I will do something about it. This specifically isn't related to you btw, this is just what riled me up to make the edits I did. 5aturnius (talk) 13:13, 15 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
