Services

On behalf of Wheely, I'd like to submit another request, this time for the "Services" section.

I propose removing the following content (third and fourth paragraphs):

Wheely's three main cities are Moscow, London and Paris.[1][2] Wheely's service was as of June 2022 available in these smaller Russian cities:[3] Beginning in February 2021, Wheely began offering its service on an invitation-only basis in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.[4]

Multiple reasons for removal:

  • This text is not accurate. Wheely operates in London, Paris, Moscow, and St. Petersburg, as noted in the introduction and Wheely's website.
  • The citation for the "smaller Russian cities" is Wheely's website, which does not mention these cities or verify the claim.
  • Saint Petersburg is not a "smaller Russian city" as the text suggests.
  • Again, the text is not accurate. In Dubai, Wheely applied for a license, but did not begin offering service then.
  • The "History" section already says, "Seeking to expand into the Middle East, Wheely applied for an e-hailing license in Dubai in 2021."

Removing this text makes the article more accurate and up to date. @InfiniteNexus: I'd like to put this request on your radar given your willingness to assist and since you reviewed the "History" section above. Thank you! Inkian Jason (talk) 14:56, 3 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Done I've reviewed the text, and I believe you're right. Removed. InfiniteNexus (talk) 04:37, 29 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

On behalf of Wheely, I would like to submit a request to replace the company's old logo in the infobox with the new logo, which I've uploaded at File:Wheely logo.png.

I prefer not to edit in the main space because of my conflict of interest. Will another editor please review this request and update the article on my behalf? Thanks in advance.

(@InfiniteNexus: I am putting this request on your radar since you've helped previously.)

Done Fairly straightforward request. InfiniteNexus (talk) 18:11, 10 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Update request

On behalf of Wheely, I'd like to propose an update to the "Business model" section, which says: "All chauffeurs are required to successfully graduate from Wheely's three-day Academy, which covers service standards, etiquette, discretion, and first aid. Wheely requires chauffeurs to use specific luxury vehicles that are no more than three years old."

This article published by Business Insider confirms that the Academy is located in Syon Park and that chauffeurs "have to sign NDAs to protect their passengers' privacy". Therefore, I propose updating the aforementioned language to the following (changes bolded for emphasis):

  • "All chauffeurs are required to successfully graduate from Wheely's three-day Academy in Syon Park, which covers service standards, etiquette, discretion, and first aid. Wheely requires chauffeurs to use specific luxury vehicles that are no more than three years old, and to sign non-disclosure agreements to protect the privacy of passengers."

@InfiniteNexus: You've assisted with several requests above. Might you be interested in reviewing this request as well? Thanks, Inkian Jason (talk) 15:03, 27 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Dubai update

On behalf of Wheely, I'd like to propose updates to the introduction and History section to note the company's launch in Dubai. More specifically, I propose changing "In 2021, Wheely announced plans to expand into Dubai" to "Wheely launched in Dubai in 2024." in the introduction. In the History section, after the current text "Seeking to expand into the Middle East, Wheely applied for an e-hailing license in Dubai in 2021", I propose adding: "The company launched in Dubai in February 2024.[1]"

I see this as a non-controversial update, but I avoid editing the main space because of my conflict of interest. I invite others to review this request and update the article on my behalf. @InfiniteNexus: Might you be interested in reviewing this request, as you have before?

Thanks, Inkian Jason (talk) 13:32, 9 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Revert request

These changes were made to the entry by an unregistered editor. The edits change sourced details and make the introduction inaccurate, as Wheely is not "a Russian/Swiss-founded" company just because "The founder, Anton Chirkunov had Swiss and Russian dual nationality" (as this edit summary suggests). Wheely launched in Zurich and is based in London. The company operating in Russia does not make it Russian-founded. @InfiniteNexus: Might you be willing to review this request and revert recent changes? As a reminder, I am submitting this edit request on behalf of Wheely as part of my work at Beutler Ink. Thanks! Inkian Jason (talk) 19:11, 20 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
