Time to split this template?

This template has grown too large! I think its time to split this template. • SbmeirowTalk • 18:12, 10 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Step 1 - Determine new article names and how to split?

  • "Application ARM-based chips" <--- Cortex-A + ARMv7-A + ARMv8-A
  • "Embedded ARM-based chips" <--- Cortex-M + Cortex-R
  • "Classic ARM-based chips" <--- ARM7 to ARM11 and compatibles

Step 2 - Create new articles and copy text to new articles.

Step 3 - Migrate all articles that use current template over to new template.

Step 4 - After all usage has been convert, then delete this template.

What do you think of the proposed article names? Please respond. • SbmeirowTalk • 18:14, 10 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
No response, so I went ahead and split it. Done. • SbmeirowTalk • 17:37, 2 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
This looks pretty good. Well done. --Txt.file (talk) 21:14, 3 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

V·T·E links?

Any idea if there is a way to add the View/Talk/Edit links in the top left like a normal {{navbox}}? I don't see any option for this in the documentation for {{navboxes}} but maybe I'm missing something? - PaulT+/C 02:59, 2 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

 Done. InfiniteNexus (talk) 05:37, 8 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
