Francization/Frankisation

Hi Ssolbergj,

I see some users have changed your spelling of Frankisation to Francization, which is the title of the article. Although this is really nitpicking, the Manual of Style states that "European Union Institution" articles (such as the European Parliament and European Commission) should be written in UK or Irish English, but says nothing about general European articles. As a city (which is not a "European Union Institution"), Brussels has no significant linguistic ties to the UK nor Ireland. Is there a page to which you can point me where consensus view has been made regarding general European articles? If not, I propose that it should be kept in the style of the article, where American English is clearly established. Once again, nitpicking, but it seems like it is generating a lot of revisions on this template. Thanks for your work. --Daveblack (talk) 17:33, 14 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've left a similar message on his talk page. -Oreo Priest talk 19:02, 14 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Looks to me like "francisation" is a good enough compromise. No point arguing over it really.--Daveblack (talk) 21:03, 14 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
