Add Belize! They speak English, and an English based creole, they take CXC's and they are part of CARICOM!!!!
- Belize is on the bottom of the template which is where nations with Caribbean coastlines are located. Joelito (talk) 13:21, 10 October 2008 (UTC)
Lists are there
The template makes it look like most lists of universities (and colleges) for a given country doesn't exist. Actually, most of them do, like List of universities in the Cayman Islands and List of universities in Dominica. But, I don't know how to fix the linking. Any help is highly appreciated! Country names with "The"
We should use similar functionality here as is employed at Template:North America topic.--Pharos (talk) 22:05, 1 June 2021 (UTC)
- I've mostly implemented this, but to make it a bit better we'd also have the functionality where "the" is only employed when there's a specific topic specified. It's just a little more code at the North America one.--Pharos (talk) 18:04, 2 June 2021 (UTC)
Region links for specific topics
For many specific topics, the region links are unnecessary. For example, for "Flags of the Caribbean" or "Vehicle registration plates of the Caribbean," it doesn't really make any sense to have, e.g., "Caribbean Sea" be wikilinked. The result is a ton of redlinks and, for "Virgin Islands," it often leads to an unnecessary disambiguation page link (given that the two options are right next to it in the template). How can this template be implemented in a way that doesn't link the region names? Henrygg98 (talk) 17:47, 14 April 2023 (UTC)
- There will be ways as this is done on other templates, but requires someone who understands the code. If there's no reply here you might try asking at a more well-watched template, like Template talk:Europe topic. CMD (talk) 01:47, 15 April 2023 (UTC)
