What's the goal here? This seems to be a hodgepodge of links in no particular order. -Uyvsdi (talk) 00:29, 23 September 2009 (UTC)Uyvsdi[reply]
... um, it's a collection of links to articles pertinent to the general subject of the Cherokee people, sorted by more specific topic? Do you have a specific objection? DS (talk) 14:40, 18 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I created new headings and added links to increase the usefulness of this template. Where there are general articles of the subheading topic, they are listed first (e.g. Cherokee society is the main article for "Culture"), then others progress alphabetically, except "History," which has two general articles, then articles are listed more or less chronologically. "Tribes" and "Organizations" are simply listed alphabetically. -Uyvsdi (talk) 01:16, 21 October 2009 (UTC)Uyvsdi[reply]

Significant progress has been made on connecting Cherokee related topics and articles through the nav point template. Additional edits to the template are being added every day. If anyone that sees this wants to collaborate on the project please discuss it here. --
OF NOTE: Most of the town names, prior to removal, are included in one of three ways, either with their Cherokee name as spelled, as said or the English equivalent meaning. That's why you will see Titsohili used instead of Willstown. I am currently trying to add the Cherokee name and Syllabary within as many articles as I can if it is provided somewhere. --
I used to enjoy visiting Cherokee, North Carolina with my parents when i was younger. When I saw this template, a quick glance (even with using a find tool) didn't reveal it on the template. I can look again. Also, thank you for tagging me, since this template is not on my watchlist. Morriswa (Charlotte Allison) (talk) 18:39, 14 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Basically, this template is replicating a category. It's so enormous, it becomes useless. Check out Category:Cherokee tribe. Yuchitown (talk) 17:23, 12 December 2020 (UTC)Yuchitown[reply]
