Mayors

I suppose the template listing cities over 100,000 is okay. I don't see the purpose of listing mayors with them however. "Mayor" is a person, a bio, not a place. It seems like unnecessary publicity for a politician. Okay, I suppose, to have separate list for mayors, but why do they have to be in "place" articles?
