@Number 57: Request to change the template title name from Maharashtran elections to Maharashtra elections. The state is known as Maharashtra and the people living there / born are known as Maharashtrians. So the appropriate name would be Maharashtra elections. "Maharashtrian elections" may be the best option, as these template are commonly titled using demonyms (e.g. {{Indian elections}}). Is that ok? Cheers, Number 57 21:56, 15 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Negative. The elections are for the state. I come from Mumbai, Maharashtra & am a Maharashtrian but we never say Maharashtrian elections rather we say / read / write as Maharashtra State Assembly election. Also, note it is Maharashtra State Assembly election, 2014 and not Maharashtrian State Assembly election, 2014. So the appropriate name would be Maharashtra State Assembly election - Ninney (talk) 22:04, 15 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
