Things you can do

Addition of works

Because there are so many works that are inspired by or loosely

Never, Never Land (1980 film)
in this template.

Your argument against including it is persuasive, so I've removed it per your suggestion. MovieMadness (talk) 18:29, 6 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Movie location

I'd rather keep the two movies about Barrie and the Davies family in the "People" section. - JasonAQuest (talk) 17:58, 6 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I respectfully disagree for the very reason they are films, not people. MovieMadness (talk) 18:26, 6 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The label "People" was intended to identify that the section of the template was about the real people associated with Peter Pan, not necessarily that every item was a person. What about labeling it "History"? - JasonAQuest (talk) 20:03, 6 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
In all honesty, I think it's fine as it reads now. The "People" section identifies those real people associated with Peter Pan, which you say was its original intent. "Feature Films" includes films of or about Peter Pan. Each category is very specific and includes appropriate articles. Why not leave it as is? Thanks. MovieMadness (talk) 20:11, 6 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The other films are about Peter Pan (the character); Lost Boys and Finding Neverland are about JMB and the Davies family (real people), and the history of Peter Pan (the play). - JasonAQuest (talk) 20:32, 6 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Template problems

Although this template looks fine, within articles it's distorted. See [1] and [2] for examples. Can someone who's savvy about these things figure out why and fix it? Thank you! MovieMadness (talk) 18:26, 6 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The "noinclude" tag within the table broke it. That tag indicates that the material that follows should not be included when the template appears in an article. - JasonAQuest (talk) 20:03, 6 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Future items

I don't see much point in adding items that don't yet exist to this template. For all we know, the planned films will never be made, and it isn't Wikipedia's job to predict the future. Furthermore, the point of a navigation template is to help people move among articles, and nonlinks don't do that. - Jason A. Quest (talk) 15:55, 16 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
