Cadzow Castle

I took this out, as it was never a "Royal Palace" in the sense that the others were. The Cadzow Castle which was lived in by David I was probably not the same one that is there today. Also, why only Cadzow Castle, and not the more obvious Stirling and Edinburgh? Edward Waverley 13:27, 31 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Residences abroad

I understand the rationale of the recent edit to move non-UK residences/palaces into discrete sections. Perhaps it's time to consider renaming this template to something less geographic? Perhaps Palaces and residences of the British Royal Family? It should recognise historic changes, that former residences once on "British" soil are now located in independent states. Accessibility

The blue background {#CCCCFF) in the title bar is insufficiently different from the colour of linked title (which may be #5A3696) and the contrast ratio at 5.68 is less than the WCAG 2 AAA minimum value of 7 for small text. This means that the combination fails best practice accessibility standards for those with vision impairments. Unfortunately it is difficult to use blue backgrounds when our links are also coloured blue; the background colour would have to be de-saturated to at least #E4E4FF to meet WCAG AAA standards. --RexxS (talk) 15:31, 5 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
