Mind Science Foundation

Why is Mind Science Foundation in this template? It certainly isn't notable, as I've lived in San Antonio since 1983 and have never heard of it. Clipper471 03:02, 19 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Good question. It's only a stub, so I say take it out unless someone can point out it's value in the SA box. --Brownings 03:43, 19 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

What on earth

Is this supposed to be a list of landmarks? It needs to be broken up.. it doesn't read well at all. I saw it on the

Frost National Bank article.. I'd suggest making a companies based in San Antonio, Texas template but that isn't very orthodox. It should probably be trimmed to the really good landmarks.. then you can make another one for universities/colleges and whatever else is on here. i'll help if its needed. drumguy8800 C T 07:50, 20 November 2006 (UTC)[reply

Breaking the San Antonio template up into sections isn't a bad idea. Maybe something like the one for New York. Not all of the items on this template are landmarks per say, just points of interest that someone browsing might want to jump over to. Perhaps we can break the template up into sections based on schools, entertainment (i.e. AT&T Center), government, then an all others. I'd be against removing any of the listings currently on the template though. --Brownings 14:52, 20 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed change to the template

Drumguy8800 suggested changes to the template. Here is my version. Of course this needs a lot of tweaking, but it'll give you an idea what the end product would look like. The names and headers aren't set in stone. We can adjust, add, and delete as needed. --Brownings 19:33, 20 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I posted up a note on the San Antonio talk page about the proposed changes. Perhaps that'll get more Wiki user's inputs and ideas. --Brownings 13:38, 22 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Great idea. Clipper471 17:16, 26 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Template moved to the bottom of the page while updates are made. --Brownings 13:31, 13 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

New template (work in progress, feel free to help)

I REALLY like this format. Great job! Dknights411 02:01, 14 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. I think it looks a ton better than the old one, and hopefully it'll be a little easier for visitors to navigate to the different attractions. --Brownings 21:39, 14 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Firstmark CU/SSFCU

Firstmark Credit Union is listed in this template under 'companies.' At first I was going to suggest SSFCU be added (as it is the fifth or tenth largest Credit Union in the United States depending on whether ranked by membership or assets) as well, but it appears as though Firstmark doesn't even belong on the list in the first place. I'd like to at least add SSFCU (and I'll do some work on the article to boot), and remove Firstmark from the template. Any thoughts? I'll make the change on 14 November after 1800 UTC.
