LEV

Perhaps Limited Expected Values and Raw moments too? -- Avi (talk) 16:59, 25 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the feedback. I've replaced
raw moment, which redirects to moment (mathematics). Not so sure about limited expected value as I'm not keen on including redlinks and I was thinking of keeping this to reasonably elementary topics so that it remains fairly small so that each list fits on a line. (I haven't named the three lists, i.e. it's a "navbox without groups", but I hope it's fairly clear that the articles within each line are closely related). --Qwfp (talk) 19:11, 25 September 2008 (UTC)[reply

Sounds good. I guess I'll have to start an article on LEV's, but I'll likely not be able to encapsulate it mathematically precisely. -- Avi (talk) 19:18, 25 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Minor suggestion

I suggest reordering the last line to put the ch function and mgf first, as they are in my estimation more important concepts. The result would then have pgf and cumulant together, which is appropriate as they are closely related. Baccyak4H (Yak!) 17:16, 25 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

 Done, thanks! Qwfp (talk) 19:11, 25 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
