IBO Titles

The IBO titles are not considered major titles and should be listed in the other world titles section.--SaskatchewanSenator (talk) 12:39, 19 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Transnational Boxing Rankings Board

It is unclear why the TBRB (Transnational Boxing Rankings Board) keeps being removed. They are equivalent to the sanctioning by RING magazine and name champions. Further, the many of the same people who did rankings and named championship bouts for RING now do so for the TBRB. For more information on TBRB and their championship policy from an independent source see http://espn.go.com/blog/boxing/post/_/id/2135/tbrb-a-viable-alphabet-alternative. These removals seem to keep being made by unregistered editors. If there should be a discussion on if the TBRB should be kept in this box or not, then that is fine and should take place here. However, simply having unregistered editors removing them without explanation or discussion cannot be the course of action to take. RonSigPi (talk) 03:05, 26 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Suggested title change

I see the Olympics keep being added. I dont think they fit the template because they are amateur and their weight classes do not match up with the classes listed. What about changing the list to 'World professional boxing champions'? RonSigPi (talk) 23:11, 3 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Agree.Peter Rehse (talk) 23:13, 3 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I went ahead and did the change - it just makes so much sense. Removed the amateur, both olympics and AIBA, there was just too much clash the other way.Peter Rehse (talk) 11:43, 4 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
