Tetrindole was a drug candidate that functions by
reversibly inhibiting monoamine oxidase A; it was first synthesized in Moscow in the early 1990s.[1] Tetrindole is similar in its chemical structure to pirlindole (Pyrazidol), and metralindole.[2]
