The vocational school, Lycée Professionnel Augustin Ty,[3] was officially opened in 1994. It is located directly opposite the airport.

Climate
Touho has a tropical rainforest climate (Köppen climate classification Af). The average annual temperature in Touho is 24.3 °C (75.7 °F). The average annual rainfall is 2,368.1 mm (93.23 in) with March as the wettest month. The temperatures are highest on average in February, at around 27.0 °C (80.6 °F), and lowest in August, at around 21.5 °C (70.7 °F).
