John Trevor Thompson (21 May 1955 – December 2021) was an English professional
full-back
. Active in England and the United States, Thompson made over 150 career league appearances.
Career
Born in
English league club was Lincoln City, where he made 80 league appearances between 1979 and 1982.[5] Thompson later played non-league football with Gainsborough Trinity and Worksop Town,[6] and managed Boston Town.[7]
He died in December 2021, at the age of 66.[8]
