csparr is Cyndy Sims Parr. I trained in biology (behavior, ecology, and systematics of birds) and informatics (visualization, semantic web, collaboration). I used to work for the Encyclopedia of Life and recently moved to the U.S. Department of Agriculture's National Agricultural Library.

My contribution to Wikipedia is primarily to fix annoying little typos and grammar problems.
