Hello!

I am, among other things:

  • an administrator, which just means that I'm trusted with some extra buttons to do maintenance tasks.
  • a member of the
    elected
    for the 2024-25 term.
  • a bot operator. My fleet consists of User:FireflyBot and User:FireflyBot II. In general the former is used for continuous / long-running tasks, and the latter for one-off or specialist jobs.
  • part of the fediverse on wikis.world as @firefly.

 

My technical wishlist

I wish that...

  • ...mobile communication bugs got greater attention from the WMF
  • ...ANI wasn't ~2 years out of date on the Android app
  • ...talk pages were accessible-by-default, and we didn't have to think about it
  • ...there was some way to 'tag' pages on your watchlist so you could remember why you put them there
