Wikipedia being as neutral and factual as can be since its creation on 15 January 2001 has grown into a stealthy yet important voluntary cultural phenomenon and has exploded in ways no one thought of. Websites and info come and go over time, but with the inter-collaboration with the Internet Archive and its flagship asset, the Wayback Machine, well-referenced info posted and stuck in here for decades and decades to come might just resurrect former faulty and/or irreparable human lives! You may never know!!
Since I entered myself in here on WP on the last minute of 27 March 2022, I've been monitoring and still continue to monitor articles and info created and/or maintained by proven sock-puppets, blocked/banned users, conflict of interest enthusiasts and spammers in here â some promising, others useful and also the non-useful ones have been converted as such so they could fit in.
Milestones
1. Until my account creation, the article under the "Barbie (film series)" title housed the info on films and other media linked with or connected to
2.
- When I first became aware of "Rainbow High" on YouTube prior to my account creation, I came here to check whether or not it had an entry. Instead, I found an article with that title about a novel/book by Alex Sanchez. I had to search for "Rainbow High MGA" before I could get the actual title. That made me move the then-primary topic to its current location and invoke my first requested move, which rather ended up with the "Rainbow High" title getting DABbed.
- A currently-blocked user (G6 deletion tag on MegaSmike46's title which got deleted and did same for the latter, but an admin (Primefac) declined it as he saw no reason for a deletion.
- Until the completed WP:COMMONNAME move to its current title. However, my second RMTR request to send the production company article back to its former base title felt contentious by Skarmory, with Sam Sailor invoking a contested RM on it which saw no support or opposition for 14 days, despite a relist by Buidhe. A page mover (ModernDayTrilobite) closed and moved it.
- The "League One" page was moved to "Football League One" by JMHamo as he saw that an English user was biased at moving the article to suit his geographical location as the primary topic. The League One DAB page was created A bit iffy in 2013 and moved by Robertsky to its base title at my first of many RMTR requests.
- The info about the first incarnation of CBS Corporation is currently resided under Westinghouse Electric Corporation with the second CBS Corporation having its own article. Looking at the "Evolution of Paramount (Global)" mini-template, the first CBS Corporation was coincidentally rebranded in 1997 from the same Westinghouse which bought the CBS network 24 months earlier, but whoever looks for the first CBS Corp will either be directed to the topic section of the Westinghouse article or the article itself. His move reminded me of past Wikipedians/editors who attempted to reorganize coverage of articles relating to the first News Corporation and the second/current News Corp as they were both "News Corporation" with the first coming from 1980 to 2013 and the second since 2013.
- Following on from the previous entry/point, I've been hard at work on using WP:MALPLACED or manual means to help in the numerous WP DAB conundrums that may pop up from anywhere, including La RepĂșblica and San-PĂ©dro, which needed invoking of RMs which ended up unsatisfactorily dead. For the former entry, it was on MALPLACED which Dekimasu opposed due to its relevance relative to numerous Google Search tests and for the latter, San-PĂ©dro (now at San-PĂ©dro, Ivory Coast), was on unnecessary DAB as compared to the San Pedro DAB page. Like point 3 below, I had the opportunity to pull down 162 etc.'s reversal request to the "Contested" section at RMTR shortly after Polyamorph granted and executed my initial request. No wonder if possible, unless someone warns me, I'll drop whatever request at RMTR to the "Contested" section so as to banish those memories as I see them as missed opportunities.
3. On 10 January 2023, I came across the 5th-interface homepage of CAFOnline.com website owned and operated by the
What to expect from me in 2024!
1. Monster High had numerous articles on its web series and its films (List of Monster High films), the latter serving as the current target for all but 3 active standalone out of 17 overall entries, excluding Monster High: The Movie and Monster High 2 as they are recent ones. The primary reason for a redirection of this former articles to the list article is the non-existent inclusion of references/refs for standalone notability, just like Bovineboy2008's assertions on some articles on Barbie films. From 3 January until the end of this year, expect this to change as I'll have them back on WP with refs to show for them.
2. Speaking of and returning to the scope on Barbie films, with the launch of the Ruffle software on the Internet Archive, I have another chance at bringing back information, websites and refs not previously added to them in-article to do just that that I ain't going to pass up!! Even articles which were created with nothing in them which are also currently redirects to their entries at the "List of Barbie films" article will have their rightful standalone places in this project.
3. On the scope of CAFOnline and articles on African football competitions for the 1995 to 2023 time frame, expect me to be more active in them! Whether a revival or resurrection.
