Wikipedia is one of the greatest creations of the 20th century. It really surprised me that it could work -- I never would have thought of making an encyclopedia editable by everyone. Problems did arise, but Wikipedia's creators and founder Jimmy Wales solved them as they occurred. It is now, in my opinion, one of the greatest resources in our current world. It's where I go several times daily to gain knowledge. Google's own search engine is like that, but so often Google leads right here. And when it does, I know I'm in good hands. Wikipedia, at this time, is vast, reliable, unbiased, free, uncluttered, and available to the entire world. This is the reason I donate to Wikimedia every year. Although my financial donation is meager, it is heartfelt.
