A while back I was an editor at the
Open Directory Project
. When I first came to Wikipedia from the ODP I was intimidated by the amount of support information available to editors. ODP had a few pages of guidelines but most everything else was ad hoc and category-specific. I've come to be impressed by how well organized the project pages are. It's fun digging in and I'm glad to be here.
