Our discussion yesterday got almost immediately archived to User_talk:Iveagh_Gardens/Archive_2#Dublin_City_North_(Dáil_constituency), which is a pity.

So I have to start a new tread to note as I have gone ahead and undone the Dublin splits, by merging Dublin City North (Dáil constituency) back to Dublin North (Dáil constituency), and also merging Dublin City South (Dáil constituency) back to Dublin South (Dáil constituency). I'm sorry you had to start a new thread! I edited the autoarchive to "archive for length, not for time", in the expectation and desire that when I returned, the thread would be there, rather being archived after a week. In fact, it had the opposite effect, as removing the time altogether meant that conversations were immediately archived! I should have read that template documentation more carefully! Hi, in this edit to Wicklow–Wexford (Dáil constituency) you replaced <ref>https://ec-report.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/constituency-review-report-2023.pdf</ref> with {{sfn|BGI|1996}}. Good question! Government --> government was the easiest call, being a commonplace word, even when part of a formal title, so it was the first one I approached it with. But I can't see why it wouldn't also apply for executive council and ministry. FWIW, I've noticed that the Irish Times now uses lowercase for taoiseach. All that said, I'd be hesitant about moving to the same for Dáil or Seanad, as in 33rd dáil, even if arguably the same principle applies. (By the way, thanks for catching and reverting a false positive in a heading when I was going through them; the AWB is efficient, but I do need to watch out!)
