Hi Strattonsmith.
Numerous editors have pointed out to you for the past two years the necessity of using edit summaries for each of your edits but you have ignored these requests – as many as eight requests in total!
Your edit history shows that you provide a summary for only 1.3% of your edits, which is not just a poor record, but discourteous to other editors.
It would be appreciated if you would take a few seconds to describe your edits in the summary box provided. Thank you.

Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! ‑‑Neveselbert (talk · contribs · email) 20:04, 26 June 2023 (UTC)

Joel Sanders moved to draftspace
Thanks for your contributions to Joel Sanders. Unfortunately, it is not ready for publishing because it needs more sources to establish notability and it is promotional and reads like an advertisement. Your article is now a draft where you can improve it undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Vanderwaalforces (talk) 18:58, 26 September 2023 (UTC)
Dear Vanderwaalforces (talk) 18:58, 26 September 2023 (UTC) I appreciate your bringing to my attention the deficincies in the article, however I believe they are easily solved adding the New York Times and Architectural Digest references and materials. I think that you could have allowed more time to adrress, therein rather easily attended to with getting to the crux of the issues his architecture and proposals deal with. To put it four months hence for review is sort of unfair. Could you please look at at and see if is improved enough now or what it still requires for publishing. Thank you so much for your consideration.Strattonsmith (talk) 20:43, 26 September 2023 (UTC)
- Hi Strattonsmith, thanks for pinging me. The article is a WP:BLP. The article is currently not in a state where it can remain in mainspace that’s why I moved it to draft so that you can fix things up before and taking it through the AFC process. The sources doesn’t establish the notability of the subject, add ore reliable sources to the article if possible and if you can find any. I’m just trying to assist you so that the article won’t get nominated for deletion, but welp, it will end up there if the subject of the article is not notable enough to have a Wikipedia entry. Ozawa
Thank you for copy-editing Seiji Ozawa. I reverted some with explanations, and wonder if you found those, because you did the same even afterwards. Quite generally, in classical music, especially opera: when a piece has a link (Ninth Symphony, Swan Lake), there's no need to link to the composer whose biography is not relevant to the conductor's. Those who really don't know Beethoven can be sure to find a link in the symphony's article. - Happy editing, thanks for your help! -- Gerda Arendt (talk) 08:55, 10 February 2024 (UTC)

Bare references
I have a feeling you are going to ignore this as you have ignored all similar requests on your talk page, but I want to ask this in good faith. Can you please stop using simple bare urls ("< ref > www.citation.com < / ref >") to reference citations in your edits and additions to articles? You are creating so much work for other editors who have to clean up behind you to ensure that what you've added doesn't disappear eventually as the cited page shifts. As has been explained on your talk page by multiple other editors, bare urls can quickly lead to an article full of broken urls as references. Again, I'm asking this in good faith, but I do not know why you would willingly make things so much more difficult for other editors when you've been politely asked multiple times to stop using bare urls. If anything, you are making it more likely that your own contributions will eventually be removed because a url you cited becomes redirected and the information you added is no longer directly cited. It only takes 30 seconds to add the extra information about what the source is, where it came from, and what it's called. You would be saving so many other people a lot of work, as you are a pretty prolific editor and seem to add citations very often.
Thanks for your time. 19h00s (talk) 16:52, 3 April 2024 (UTC)
