Biography
Shuvalov was born in the
Republic of Mordovia; sources vary on whether his birthplace was Nabornye Syresi[2] or Ruzayevka.[3]
Shuvalov played for
Russian and Soviet Hockey Hall of Fame in 1953. He also played soccer in the Soviet Top League for VVS Moscow from 1950 to 1952.[4] Shuvalov died from COVID-19 in Moscow on 19 April 2021, at the age of 97, amid the COVID-19 pandemic in Russia.[5]
