The citizens of the following 7 designated countries as well as refugees and stateless persons residing in these countries can enter Algeria for a stay up to a maximum of 3 months:[1][2][3][4]

In addition, holders of diplomatic and/or service category passports of the following countries can visit Algeria without a visa:[3][6]

Visa waiver agreement for holders of diplomatic and service passports was signed with India[7] and Azerbaijan, but have yet to be ratified.
Entry restrictions
Syria
Syrian citizens are specifically required to hold proof of sufficient funds to cover their stay in Algeria. Nationals of Syria must hold at least 1000€ if they have an Algerian sponsor, and at least €4000 if they do not.[3]
Israel
Entry and transit is refused to Israel nationals, even if not leaving the aircraft and proceeding by the same flight.[3]
