fashion magazine which is an offshoot of the American Vogue magazine. The magazine is published by Condé Nast Mexico y Latinoamérica. The magazine is published in Mexico as Vogue México and in the United States and Central America as Vogue Latinoamérica.
HistoryVogue México was first published in the 1980s before suspension of publication in the 1990s. In October 1999 It was restarted as Vogue en Español (Vogue in Spanish).[1][2] 2002–2012: Eva Hughes as editorEva Hughes became the Editor-in-Chief of the magazine in September 2002.[3] Under her leadership the magazines circulation doubled.[citation needed] She left the magazine in 2012 after she was named the CEO of Condé Nast Mexico y Latinoamérica.[4] 2012–2016: Kelly Talamas as editorKelly Talamas replaced Eva Hughes as editor-in-chief. Talamas had joined the magazine 2007 as editorial coordinator, then she was named fashion editor before becoming EIC.[citation needed] She was responsible for the creation of Who's On Next?, which spotlit new and local regional designers. In 2016, she was appointed as Creative Director for Condé Nast Mexico y Latinoamérica.[5][6] 2016–present: Karla Martínez de Salas as editorKarla Martínez de Salas was appointed as editor-in-chief for the magazine in June 2016, after Talamas was named creative director.
