  • Keep : The shopping center is notable for solidifying the name "Midtown" for the Midtown neighborhood in Little Rock. I added this fact and citation. I also added more to the history section and included more references. Many of these references are hidden behind a paywall (which I noted using the (subscription required) template). I believe residents of Little Rock should have an article they can read for free to be able to learn about notable structures in their city, especially structures that influenced the name of a prominent neighborhood, and this article provides that. This is not a run-of-the mill shopping center, as it established the name Midtown, which is a substantial chunk of area in Little Rock that includes the state's largest hospital system (UAMS) and Park Plaza Mall, as well as Midtowne Shopping Center.
