As agreed in Wikipedia:Community Justice/Meeting, an elections shall begin when Community Justice has 30 members. That has now happened.

The elections will choose the first elected

chief executive and councillors
. There will be 1 chairman, 1 chief executive and 5 councillors. They will all serve a six month term.

All Candidates Must Submit Their Statement By April 23rd. Voting will begin April 24th, and end May 1st.

Roles

Chairman

The chairman's role is to organise meetings and oversee the administration of the organisation. Also, the chairman is responsible for ensuring the council's decisions are carried out.

Chief Executive

The chief executive's responsibilities are to become acting chairman, at the chairman's or council's request, as well as providing their opinion to the chairman and to assist ensuring the council's decisions are carried out.

Councillor

A councillor's responsibility is to represent the members views. This maybe in referendums, or bringing forward member's views in meetings. A councillor should gather opinions of members whenever possible.

Election Staff

We require two, and no more, election staff to tally and verify votes. If you are interested, please add your signature below. Please ensure you will each be able to dedicate time to verify every vote and conduct a final vote count.
