If you would like to help, please place your name in the participants list below and take a look (here and at the talk page) at what you can do.

Structure

Parentage

This project is a daughter project of WikiProject Novels

Goals

  1. To detail the novels and fictional world of Terry Pratchett's Discworld
  2. To ensure the detail is structured as well as possible

Stylistic conventions

There are a growing number of stylistic conventions that WikiProject Discworld seeks to enforce; some are derived from the

Manual of Style
, others are of our own making. If you see an error in a Discworld article, fix it now!!

  1. When talking about the books use italics: ''[[Discworld]]''Discworld
  2. When talking about the Discworld world itself, use regular font and link to the correct article: the [[Discworld (world)|Discworld]]Discworld
  3. All articles should link to both of the above articles where sensible, but avoid
    overlinking
    !
  4. All book titles should be italicised and linked on their first appearance.

Templates

WikiProject Discworld maintains the following templates which should be added as appropriate to articles within our scope.

Infoboxes

These should be used at the top of the relevant articles.

{{Infobox book}} to be placed on all novel articles Has been placed on all novel articles.

{{Infobox short story}} to be placed on all short story articles

{{Infobox character}} to be placed on all character articles

Navbars

These navbars should be placed at the bottom of the articles. All the articles listed on a template should have that template on them.

{{

Discworld books
}} to be placed on all novel articles
