Wikipedia:Editing dos and don'ts

This is an information page.

It is not one of Wikipedia's policies or guidelines; rather, its purpose is to explain certain aspects of Wikipedia:Editng policy. It may reflect differing levels of consensus and vetting.

Wikipedians should follow these set of rules to Contribute to Wikipedia

when editing

DO:
Find reliable sources and verify information.
Add your own work.
Use a neutral point of view.
Try to fix problems and revert vandalism.
assume good faith, and demonstrate it as well.
Assume the assumption of good faith when your edits are reverted.

DON'T:
Don't add your own personal research and add hoaxes/rumours
Don't add copyrighted material
Don't use a biased point of view
Don't cause problems and vandalise Wikipedia
Don't assume bad faith and attack other editors.
