RfA
when I reach around 3000. However, before I do so, I want to be up to my best and able to deal with conflicts in a smooth and easy manner.

I would appreciate it if more Wikipedians could review me, so I can improve to my full capability.

Thank you,

  • I'm new to wikipedia, and think it's great and i think it's excellent that people are monitoring for spam, but I think yuser31415 is going a bit wild removing spam that might not be spam. I made a non spam external link to the wiki apple2 pages that refer to a site that brings back apple2 usage when apple2's are long gone. The refering site is not for profit and i didn't do it a million times to non apple2 wiki pages, why is this considered spam. apple2user

Questions

  1. Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
    As I am a
    Wikignome
, I don't have one point of interest. My primary contributions are those I make while RC and NP patrolling, fighting vandals, and welcoming users, as I am a member of the Welcoming Committee. Apart from that, I wander around the Wiki following links, fixing typos/capitalizations/grammar/spelling, fixing links, making redirects, etc.
  2. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
I don't believe I've had any major edit conflicts in the past. Probably the worst time I ever had was on Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:AtionSong/World's Longest Poem (second nomination), where I was getting annoyed with User:Whedonette. That was a little while ago now and I don't hold any grudge towards her.

Thanks for your help on December 20, 2006

I posted a helpme because two articles, Thalía and Paulina Rubio, that I watch get a lot fan competition edits. As a Wikipedia reader and part-time editor, I hate seeing vandals disrupt pages. I do my best to protect the pages I watch. On December 20, the edits were starting to get beyond what a rational human being could revert. I ased for help and Yuser31415 took a look at the pages, gave me advice on how to protect them from vandal edits and how to ask for semi-protection on them. I kind of felt over my head in getting the articles protected but because of Yuser31415's expert advice, I managed to request semi-protection the next day which was granted. Kudos Yuser31415!!!!
