Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Speedy redirect

Source: Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.

Speedy redirect is a special type of

drafts that meet certain conditions. Namely, the page should not obviously meet any of the criteria for speedy deletion and must be an exact match of a topic already covered within the mainspace. It may also be appropriate to speedily redirect a particularly poorly developed draft to a matching well developed section of an article. The same applies to a draft containing content that has already been merged into the mainspace. Drafts should not be speedily redirected to an article currently undergoing a deletion discussion of its own. If those conditions are met the nominated page may be speedily redirected
and the discussion may be speedily closed.
