DivisionsScope

WikiProject Assyria was introduced on October 29, 2006 in order to collaborate with others in a more organized and effective way on articles pertaining to topics related to the Assyrian ethnic group, composed of people who identify as Assyrian, Chaldean, Syriac, and Aramean.

For early Assyrian history, it is a daughter project of

WikiProject Syriac Christianity
.

Projects with overlapping scopes include Wikipedia:WikiProject Syria, Wikipedia:WikiProject Iraq, Wikipedia:WikiProject Turkey, and Wikipedia:WikiProject Iran. See also Wikipedia:WikiProject Arab world.

Project participants may be interested in adding their user page to Category:Assyrian_Wikipedians (for people self-identifying as "Assyrian"), or to the sub-categories Category:Chaldean Wikipedians, and Category:Syriac Orthodox Wikipedians intended for adherents of these respective churches.
