This task force is a branch off the WikiProject of Current Events, which means all articles are classified top priority for this task force and that also means this task force does not rate articles.

To-do

Update the
2022 monkeypox outbreak
article.
Update the Portal:Current events when necessary.
When a new country has a suspected case or confirmed case, create a new redirect called “2022 monkeypox outbreak in (country)”.
Update the global and country-specific maps.
If outbreak becomes large in a country, expanding the redirect for that country into an article, and add it to
the template. In the meanwhile, articles can be created in draft space
.

If the amount of statistical information in the main page becomes unwieldy, begin working on a separate Draft:2022 monkeypox outbreak by country and territory page.
Update 2022 if important information develops.
