User:AlexNewArtBot - New Article Bot

Hi, I am in the trial runs of the User:AlexNewArtBot (see Wikipedia:Bots/Requests_for_approval/AlexNewArtBot). The bot reads all the new articles for a day and puts suspected Plants-related articles into User:AlexNewArtBot/PlantsSearchResult, the articles are suppose to be manually put into the portal page and/or removed if irrelevant. Or whatever you want to do with them.

The list of rules are in User:AlexNewArtBot/Plants, there is also the log on the User:AlexNewArtBot/PlantsLog explaining the rules that sent an article to the search results (the log is cleared every day, so try to look into the history of the log). Please contact me if you are interested in the fine tuning of the rules

That is all. Any suggestions are welcome.

Persistence

Hello! To address an article creation request that was listed for this project, I have now created the article

Leaf persistence to Marcescence. I have also done my best to make some clarifications in both the Persistence (botany) and Marcescence
articles to make it clear to readers the ways in which these two terms are and aren't interchangeable.

One thing I am wondering... I have a botanical background, not a mycology background, but I know that sometimes there is overlap in terminology and concepts between these two subfields of the biological sciences. If anyone knows whether there are mycological applications of the term "persistence" I think it would be a fantastic addition to have those in this new article for Persistence. Brunia

Hi.. I recently created the articles Brunia (plant) and Brunia noduliflora on a whim. I am an American with a specialization in freshwater entomology so I feel very out of my depth knowing what resources I should consult to better flesh them out. I know they are thin, but I hope to have them more fleshed out as time goes on. Thanks,

Hello!
I've translated this article from fr.WP, and I'd like to have it proofread and reviewed if it's possible :)

I did some minor copyediting, but it looked pretty good. Thank you for creating the article. Plantdrew (talk) 04:27, 17 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I have created a new article: "Psychoactive plant". Input/review appreciated. --DrWoozy (talk) 11:47, 25 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
