WikiProject Women Writers was established 30 August 2014. It is a

WikiProject
dedicated to ensuring quality and coverage of articles about women writers and their works. There are more than 67,835 articles within the scope of this WikiProject. You are warmly welcome to increase the quantity and improve the quality of these articles. Many are still missing so let's keep working.

As of 16 April 2024, there are 63,409 articles and 270 lists within the scope of WikiProject Women writers, of which 143 are featured and 661 are good articles. These articles have the {{WikiProject Women writers}} template on their talk page.

Mid Subject is notable or significant within a specific scholarly community of interest or community of writing practices, or has broader cultural significance as a woman writer or women's literature, but may not necessarily have significant long lasting impact or impact outside the subset of interested peoples. Low Subject is not very significant within the general study of women writers or literature, nor very important for specific communities or bodies of scholarship, but meets the basic requirements for notability.
