If you'd like a WikiProject featured in an upcoming WikiProject report, feel free to add it to the list below. Note that these requests are entirely advisory, and may or may not be used in future reports. Please keep requests short and concise.

Call for interviews

Instructions

  1. First, start a draft page. There are Workspace pages below if you wish. Please update the Workspace table so other editors know which pages are in use.
  2. At your draft page, prepare questions for the WikiProject members to be interviewed. A standard set of questions is here: Wikipedia:Wikipedia Signpost/Newsroom/WikiProject desk/Invitation#Standard interview template
  3. Notify the WikiProject. If you need it, a standard template is below (Template page) that you can copy and past to the destination WikiProject's name (don't forget to that WikiProject xxxx on the template to the name of the WikiProject).
  4. Add the destination WikiProject to your watchlist to check for responses.

Workspace for interviews

You can use the workspaces below as draft pages if you wish.

For each person taking part in the interview, post on their talk page a wikilink to their assigned workspace, and add their names to the User column below. There is a pre-formatted notification template for you to copy-and-paste to the interviewee's talk page. Remember to change the wikilink to the correct Workspace number for their WikiProject, and to add your signature with ~~~~ at the bottom.

Going forward, each participant receives a wikilink to the interview workspace questions about the project's work, problems and achievements.

Publishing

When your interview is ready, you can submit it at the Signpost submissions page or simply include it in the newsroom. When it has received a copyedit and sign-off from the editor-in-chief, it will be published.

After publication

After your report is published:

  1. Give yourself a pat on the back . Thanks for contributing to the Signpost!
  2. Update the Wikiproject's talk page with this template (all parameters need to be filled for it to work): {{Wikipedia:Wikipedia Signpost/Templates/Signpost article link for WikiProjects|link=ARTICLE LINK|day=DAY|month=MONTH|year=YEAR}}
  3. Update the archives so future editors can know when that project was reviewed
  4. Consider thanking the participants.
