Tagging

I've just done all of the books. Some of them still need assesing. I'd be much obliged if some one else could do the authors. Thanks, Rock drum (talk·contribs·guestbook) 06:44, 4 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Authors are all tagged. VernoWhitney (talk) 13:41, 4 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Signpost

I put a bit about the task force in the Signpost this week.--mono 18:43, 4 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The 39 Clues Cards

of relevance to this task force is

The 39 Clues Cards is nominated for deletion. You can debate this at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The 39 Clues Cards (2nd nomination). Graeme Bartlett (talk) 07:08, 5 April 2010 (UTC)[reply

Also up for deletion

File:The 39 Clues Set.jpg has a poor non-free rationale (and is using the default "book-cover" template when it includes more than books) so it has been proposed for deletion. There's also Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Amy Cahill and Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Natalie Kabra, so I think we either need to fix up the articles quickly, or reevaluate the plan for them to each have their own articles. VernoWhitney (talk) 13:54, 6 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

And another one is now up, should anyone have an opinion. Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Cahill branches. VernoWhitney (talk) 12:10, 13 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

List of The 39 Clues characters

I am here to inform the task force that I decided to replace the article with new and well-sourced content. I am still working on it and is requesting permission for other members not to edit the article while I'm at it. Thanks.--FDJoshua22 (talk 16:07, 27 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

We can help... anyway, your sig should ideally have at least a link to your talk page so that people can communicate with you more easily. Airplaneman 21:00, 27 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
The sources are not better. They are primary, and the last thing we need is an article based off all primary sources. Please restore the old content (with many more refs that were 3rd party) and add the refs you found into the text. Thanks, Airplaneman 21:04, 27 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Um... the sources used to be a wiki fansite (which also cites primary sources). In this case I'm inclined to think that the (reliable) primary sources are better than an unreliable secondary source. If you can find a secondary source that's just about the characters and actually qualifies as a
Percy Jackson uses only primary sources. The character's just aren't popular enough to have reliable sources about them (yet, at least). VernoWhitney (talk) 21:15, 27 April 2010 (UTC)[reply

And that is the same reason I rebuilt the article. (Sorry if the articles is still incomplete. I just had high fever for four straight days.)--FDJoshua22 (talk) 05:43, 4 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Watchlist

Just throwing this out there, but would it be possible to do a 39 clues watchlist? Homework2 pass a notesign! 00:58, 3 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sure, here you go. Rock drum (talk·contribs·guestbook) 14:06, 3 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Noticeboard

I think that this project should have an update template such as

I like what you have done with it so far. Homework2 pass a notesign! 21:19, 3 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

References

Is Amazon considered a reliable reference?? Homework2 pass a notesign! 18:40, 6 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have used it in the past, although since it is a sales site, it's not the best
source. Consider it a last resort. Airplaneman 21:07, 6 May 2010 (UTC)[reply
]

Well you are right airplaneman because it does have sales price on thwe website. So i agree with you. --JabocJacobOhYeah (talk) 21:11, 26 February 2011 (UTC)__[reply]

Citation templates

On a reference-related point, should we promote the use of Citation templates? Rock drum (talk·contribs·guestbook) 16:03, 17 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I would say yes, because that ensures consistent and informative citation styles (with the caveat that most of the sources that I've been adding are just bare URLs, so I'm not really helping the cause). VernoWhitney (talk) 16:20, 17 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I'll go through and at least fix the ones I've done for Maze of Bones later today. We also need to stop introducing any more citations to http://various.wikibruce.com/ as it is not a reliable source. VernoWhitney (talk) 16:25, 17 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Why is this title bolded . I am talking about the title subject. --JabocJacobOhYeah (talk) 21:06, 26 February 2011 (UTC)_[reply]

Defunct?

Hey, I'm here from

39 Clues
because you guys cover that series already. However, WP:39 appears permanently defunct. If anyone's still watching this talk page, please consider getting in contact with us (or just me) to share your opinions about this idea.

We already cover the works of John Rocco because of his close connection to Rick Riordan, so it wouldn't be much of a stretch to work in The 39 Clues, if necessary. I am personally not sure how this will go over, though. In any case, if there're any active contributors left here at WP:39, we would definitely be willing to help out unofficially, so please don't hesitate to reach out if you're still involved with the series.

Our discussion of this can be found here. -- 2ReinreB2 (talk) 22:25, 6 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
