William Sheridan (Bishop of Kilmore and Ardagh) 1682-1691

William Sheridan (c. 1635 – 3 October 1711) was a 17th-century Irish clergyman, who was Bishop of Kilmore and Ardagh between 1682 and 1691,[1] having previously served as Dean of Down from 1669 to 1682.[2][3]

Sheridan was born at

James Butler, 1st Duke of Ormonde.[4]

Sheridan married Mary O'Reilly,

Mary following the 1688 coup d'etat.[6] He left Ireland and spent the rest of his life, living in reduced circumstances, in London. He is buried at Fulham
