"Women Lie, Men Lie" is a single by American rapper Yo Gotti.[1] It features rapper Lil Wayne. It was released on iTunes on December 11, 2009, for digital download. The track samples the Jay-Z song "Reminder" released earlier that year.

Background

Following his signing to

We Can Get It On", a collaboration with singer Ciara, was later released as the new first single from the album on May 19, 2011.[5]

Composition

"Women Lie, Men Lie" is backed by a propulsive, "swaggering" electronica-based production.[6][7] It is of three minutes and 36 seconds in length,[3] and the song's concept and title were inspired by lyrics from fellow rapper Jay-Z's song "Reminder", from his album The Blueprint 3 (2009).[6]
