Dear friend, which kind of books do you recommend me to read to make a better world while saving my self, specially in recent nasty world of surveillance; politics or diplomacy or intelligence analysis or protective intelligence? have you ever read any of this books:
The Years of Lyndon Johnson, Vol. 3: Master Of The Senate; by Robert A. Caro
Diplomacy (A Touchstone book); by Henry Kissinger
Intelligence Analysis: A Target-Centric Approach
On War; by Carl von Clausewitz
How to Look for Trouble: A Stratfor Guide to Protective Intelligence; by Stratfor
which one is more important? Peyman Ghasemi (talk) 20:01, 3 February 2012 (UTC)

Representatives of Groningen for the States Deputed of the Netherlands et al.
Dear ATX, I saw you created categories for members of the States Deputed of several provinces. I think that is a good thing, but feel the name is a bit off. I interpret "Representatives of Groningen for the States Deputed of the Netherlands" as: the representatives of Groningen in the States Deputed. Thus it seems that there is only the "states deputed of the Netherlands" (which doesn't exist) with representatives from Groningen, Friesland etc. Wouldn't "Members of the States Deputed of Groningen" be a better name? Rgds! L.tak (talk) 13:48, 18 May 2012 (UTC)
- The correct Dutch to English translation is rather difficult in this case, the translation of "Gedeputeerde" is "Representative" so i used that as a starting point. But i see your point! I have no objection to change the names. --ATX-NL (talk) 14:58, 18 May 2012 (UTC)
- Ok, then I will request so... My main point was the "for the states deputed of NL"-part; the member/representative is less important to me, but I think "member" is better. A "Gedeputeerde" is a representative of the "Provinciale Staten" and thus a member of the "Gedeputeerde Staten"... L.tak (talk) 16:01, 18 May 2012 (UTC)

Dutch Prime minister
Hi ATX-NL, I've got a little question. You undid my edit on the article Prime Minister of the Netherlands because you say that the term of the prime minister is indefinitely renewable (and you give the example of Ruud Lubbers) but I'm not sure about that. It is true that Ruud Lubbers was prime minister for almost 12 years, but his second cabinet fell before the end of his four year term. That's why he was allowed to be prime minister for another four years, because he did not yet serve eight full years. That was the same with Jan Peter Balkenende. Although he had already been prime minister in four different cabinets, he had not yet been prime minister for 8 years, so he was allowed to be p0rime minister another term (but his CDA wasn't the largest party anymore, so Mark Rutte became prime minister). But maby I'm wrong, so I would like to hear from you.
Thanks in advance! Porsche-one (talk) 16:09, 8 July 2012 (UTC)
PS: Your name suggests that you are Dutch (but I'm not sure) so you can answer in Dutch if you like (:

Hey ATX-NL
I'm sending you this because you've made quite a few edits to the template namespace in the past couple of months. If I've got this wrong, or if I haven't but you're not interested in my request, don't worry; this is the only notice I'm sending out on the subject :).
So, as you know (or should know - we sent out a centralnotice and several watchlist notices) we're planning to deploy the VisualEditor on Monday, 1 July, as the default editor. For those of us who prefer markup editing, fear not; we'll still be able to use the markup editor, which isn't going anywhere.
What's important here, though, is that the VisualEditor features an interactive template inspector; you click an icon on a template and it shows you the parameters, the contents of those fields, and human-readable parameter names, along with descriptions of what each parameter does. Personally, I find this pretty awesome, and from Monday it's going to be heavily used, since, as said, the VisualEditor will become the default.
The thing that generates the human-readable names and descriptions is a small

Replaceable fair use File:Jonathan Archer.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:Jonathan Archer.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the file description page and add the text
{{di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}}
below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing<your reason>
with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable. - On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. 86.155.142.212 (talk) 21:10, 15 August 2013 (UTC)

Hello ATX-NL. I see you restored your long lead section in the Wim Kok-article. I had trimmed it, and put the relevant info from it in the separate paragraphs, where lot of the info from the lead was missing. After you restored the long lead, while keeping basically the same sentences in the paragraphs, the text has become repetitive to the extreme, especially since someone elaborated on the Srebrenica massacre in a separate section. If I may give some advice: read the complete article as if you are an interested outsider, and see if it reads smoothly. Best regards, Jeff5102 (talk) 10:56, 3 November 2014 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Dries van Agt, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Negotiator. Wim Kok
Hello, this is what happened tot the Wim Kok-article a while ago:
- First, you expanded the article in the lead-sectiom;
- Then, I gave the article some structure, and divided the big parts in the lead over the several paragraphs, editing out words like "lijsttrekker"(what is wrong with "top candidate"?) and taking care that things were said twice.[1]
- And then, you saw I had removed your work in the lead, probably without realizing it was moved to the paragraphs below the lead-section. Thus, you reinserted your lead-section: [2]
- The result is an article in which the same thing is said twice.
What shall we do to make it more readable again? Best regards, Jeff5102 (talk) 20:28, 30 December 2016 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of List of Prime Ministers of the Netherlands by military service
The article List of Prime Ministers of the Netherlands by military service has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Unsourced, and there is barely anything to note about the military experience of Dutch prime ministers. Besides, I don't think the Cold War qualifies even though it has the word 'War' in its name.

Hello ATX-NL, with this edit you created an article and under a photo there you wrote "The first meeting of the Third Ruijs de Beerenbrouck cabinet on 10 August 1929" On basis of what source did you write that that picture was taken during a meeting on Saturday 10 August 1929. On Commons for that file (see File:Kabinet 1929 - SFA002006241.jpg) there is no mentioning of a specific date. Dutch newspapers have that picture in issues published on Tuesday 13 August and Wednesday 14 August 1929. So that would make it more likely that meeting was on Monday 12 August. Linking
Hi, thanks for your work on Dutch politicians. We are most grateful. Just one point, though: you'll already have noticed that en.WP links much less than other WPs. So it would be appreciated (if you're producing/translating lots more of these articles) if you went easy on links to commonly understood terms. There's never a hard-and-fast boundary between what should or shouldn't be linked, but generally we expect English-language readers to know what "politician" means in the dictionary, for example; and what a board of directors is. We like to ration links so readers are directed to the most specific and useful ones (if they ever click on them, which is doubtful). The community decided in 2009 that the tradeoff between dilution (and lots of patchy bright blue) vs instant travel to rather generalised articles needed to be re-set. Thanks again, and if you have any questions, or wish to challenge what I've said, please do. Tony (talk) 05:26, 13 January 2019 (UTC)
