The 1966–67 Iowa State Cyclones men's basketball team represented
1966–67 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Cyclones were coached by Glen Anderson, who was in his eighth season with the Cyclones. They played their home games at the Iowa State Armory in Ames, Iowa
.
Assistant coach Bob Lamson died mid-season, on February 10, 1967.[2]
They finished the season 13–12, 6–8 in Big Eight play to finish in fifth place.
