Andrew Charles Spencer Peacock

FSA FBA is a British historian and author. He specializes in the histories of the Seljuk Empire[1] and Ottoman Empire
.

Life

He was born and raised in Hampshire, England. He completed his PhD in Oriental Studies at the University of Cambridge.[2]

Career

He is currently a professor of history at the

University of St. Andrews.[3] Peacock is a fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of London and a Fellow of the British Academy.[4]
