Alma Socorro Martínez Torres (born 22 September 1981) is a former

Athens, Greece, where the team finished in eighth place.[3]

After graduating from

UC Santa Barbara Gauchos for the 2002 and 2003 seasons,[5] scoring 8 goals and recording 6 assists in 41 appearances for the team.[6][7]

After her playing career concluded, Martínez served as an assistant coach for the

Chico State Wildcats in 2005 and 2006.[8]
