Amruthalur is situated to the southwest of the mandal headquarters, Amruthalur,[4] at 16°07′3.68″N 80°39′35.5″E / 16.1176889°N 80.659861°E / 16.1176889; 80.659861. It is spread over an area of 1,499 ha (3,700 acres).[2]
